James Charles Rollison

James Charles Rollison, 78, of Fairview, MI, fomerly of West Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021.
He served his country in the U.S. Army as a PFC in the Vietnam War and was awarded both The Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
James retired as a Quality Control Supervisor from General Motors Lake Orion Plant. after 35 years service. He was a a former Post Commander for the American Legion Post #377, Clarkston, MI. He was a current member of the Luzerne American Legion Post Post #162 and The Military Order of The Purple Heart Chapter 1985, Mio, MI and enjoyed bowling and woodworking.
Surviving are his children: James Rollison, Lisa Rollison, Gary Rollison, Patrick Rollison, Tracy (Robert) Williams and Heather Rollison; 1 brother Daniel (Jayne) Rollison, many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Sandra Rollison.
Graveside Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
