Wilma Loraine Peters

Wilma Loraine Peters, age 83, of Luzerne, MI, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at The Villa at Rose City.

Wilma was born in Fonde, Kentucky on December 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Bertha (Walker) and Cecil Hill. She moved to Monroe, MI when she was 17 years old and graduated from Monroe High School. Wilma married Ramon A. Peters on June 19, 1953 in Monroe. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Wilma and Ramon retired to Luzerne in 1996, where their children lovingly dubbed their home "Ma and Pa's Resort" She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and taking care of her family.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Ramon Alfred Peters; children: Linda (Herbert) Atherton of Luzerne, MI, Timothy (Kim) Peters of Lewiston, MI, Sharon Peters of Luzerne, Jeffrey (Annette) Peters of LaSalle, MI and Susie (Greg) Stein of Roscommon, MI; siblings Mary Guy and Alan (Peggy) Hill both of Texas; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Kenneth and James Hill and Ruth Absalom.

Visitation 3 - 8 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI. Funeral Services 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Brenda Klacking officiating. Interment at The Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, MI.
