William A. Vannoy Jr.

Mr. William A. Vannoy, Jr., age 79 of Luzerne, passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2007 at his residence.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Bill was born on August 10, 1928 in Detroit, MI to the late William A. & Ila (Marriott) Vannoy, Sr. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a retired assembly line worker at Ford Motor Company. He moved to Gaylord where he was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed nature and feeding animals.
Surviving are his sons: Steven and Michael Vannoy; sister: Ruth H. (John E.) Wooddell; grandsons Eric and Lance Vannoy; many great grandchildren; sister in laws: Shirley and Jeannie Vannoy; nieces and nephews: Ronald W. Vannoy, Sherry L. Nagy, Debbie A. Vannoy, Sandra J. Burr, Donna M. Harwood and John A. Wooddell and many grand nieces and nephews.
