William R. Rundel

William R. Rundel, age 67 of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

William was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 18, 1952 to William C. and Rita (McDonald) Rundel. He worked for General Motors, retiring from the Warren Powertrain Plant after 35 years. Bill married Linda on May 6, 1989 in Livonia, Michigan. The couple settled in Lewiston in 2016. Bill was an avid outdoorsman; he had enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Bill is survived by his wife Linda of Lewiston, MI; his children: Michael (Tara) Rundel of Berkley, MI and Melissa (Brad) Franz of Roseville, MI; his sister Teresa (Lee) Reiman of Cheboygan, MI; his brother Kurt (Jackie) Rundel of Metamora, MI; and 2 grandchildren: Lucas and Collin. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gary Rundel.

Visitation Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 2 – 9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Funeral Services at 7 PM. Cremation will follow the services.
