William Goldsmith Sr.

In memory of William Joseph Goldsmith, Sr. of Comins, Michigan.  He passed on July 1, 2013 at the age of 90.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the Army Air Force.  After retirement from General Motors he and his wife lived in Oscoda County for over 26 years.
William is survived by his wife Grace, married for 65 years, and his children Sharon Schmidt, Carolyn Jansen, William Goldsmith, Jr., Dian Goldsmith and Janet Goldsmith; along with nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  He is survived by his sister Helen Smith and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be Thursday, July 11 at 1:00 p.m. held at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, Michigan  with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating.  Military honors will follow, offered by The Luzerne American Legion Post #162.
