Wendy Johns

Wendy J. Johns, age 47 of Ferndale, MI, formerly of Mio, MI, passed away at St. John Macomb Hospital in Warren, Michigan on Wednesday, August 7, 2013.
Wendy was born in Grayling, Michigan on June 9, 1966 to Daniel and Lucinda (Booth) Johns.  She graduated from Mio AuSable High School with the Class of 1984. She attended the Specks Howard Broadcasting School in Royal Oak; and also attended Oakland University.  She worked as a waitress and bartender for many restaurants and also coached Little League in Royal Oak.  She had enjoyed playing womenâ??s softball and baseball; bike riding; and the excitement of the City of Detroit.
Wendy is survived by her mother Lucinda Johns of Mio, MI; her father Daniel Johns of Pacheco, CA;  her sisters:  Danielle Lynn (Matt) Manderachia of Royal Oak, MI; and Austina Jane Smith of Grand Blanc, MI; and 2 nieces:  Lindsey Rochelle Johns and Kristen Lee Sutter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 2-4PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI.  Funeral Services will take place on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11 AM also at Lashley Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Service.
