Wayne Thomas Ezell

Wayne Thomas Ezell, 69, of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away on November 28th from long-standing complications from his fight in The Vietnam War.
Wayne was born on May 13th, 1952 to Warren and Dorothy Ezell in Etowah, Tennessee.
At just 17 years old Wayne enlisted in The United States Navy where he served and fought for his country.
In 1995, he met Linda (Scamihorn), and they wed in 1996, going on to have two children, Emily and Wayne, in addition to their daughter, Amy.
Wayne enjoyed spending his time watching his favorite team, The Lions, lose, making everyone laugh, and spoiling his three grandchildren as much as possible. He will be remembered for his unique personality, extreme stubbornness, his kind heart, and his fierce love for his family.
Wayne is predeceased by his parents, and his brother John. He is survived by his wife Linda; his brothers, James (Linda), and Roger (Sharon); his sisters, Shirley (Larry), and Kelly; his three children, Amy (Ryan), Emily, and Wayne (Ciarra); and his three grandchildren, Joseph, Emma, and Oliver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 1p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Lashley Funeral Home, with Funeral Services at 5 p.m. Interment of ashes at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
