Virginia Irene (Ginger) Kauffman
Mrs. Virginia Irene (Ginger) Kauffman, age 86, of Lexington, MI, formerly of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 in Port Huron, Michigan. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service and interment of ashes will be held at Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 24, 2009.
Ginger was born on November 4, 1922 in Mesick, MI to George & Matilda (Popps) Spoor. She married Boyd L. Kauffman on September 22, 1946 in Mio. She had worked locally as bartender and waitress for more than 50 years and was a member of The Comins Eagles Aerie 3544.
Surviving are her daughter Tammy (Fred) Myers of Lexington, MI; brothers, Bob, Don and Ron Spoor; 5 grandchildren: Jamie, Josh, Georie, Ginger and Shane and also several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Boyd L. Kauffman on December 4, 1993 and her son Bud Murray.
