Vernie G. Crandall

Vernie Gale Crandall, age 57, of Rose City, MI, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region, Bay City, Bay County.
Vernie was born in Pontiac, Michigan on July 17, 1957, a son of Darleen (Schneider) Crandall and the late Vernie Gale Crandall, Sr. The family moved to Mio in 1972. Vernie briefly served in the US army and later worked as a machinist at Ogemaw Heights High School. He was an avid coin collector enjoyed watching T.V. and woodcrafting.
Surviving are his wife: Susan; mother Darleen Crandall of Rose City, MI; children: Cassandra (Steve) Goin of Fenton, MI; Andrew Crandall of Rose City, MI; Samuel Hancock of Roscommon, MI and Shawn Hall of Florida: Brothers: Duane (Carrie) Crandall of Traverse City, MI; Roger (Kim) Crandall of Lewiston, MI and Mike Crandall of Rose City, MI; sisters Debra Crandall of Mio, Cynthia Crandall (Lester Gibson) of Waterford, MI and Valerie (Jim) McGregor of Rose City, MI 2 grandchildren Logan and Harper Grace and his mother in law Daisy Walter of South Rockwood, MI.
He was preceded in death by his father Vernie Crandall, Sr. and father in law Jesse Walter.
Visitation Friday, July 17, 2015 from 3 PM - 9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 1 PM until the time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at The Lashley Funeral Home, with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery Mio, MI.
