Vera V. Dupre

Vera V. Dupre, age 98 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at The Home at Wellspring Lutheran Services on Monday, July 4, 2016.
Vera was born in Richmond, Michigan on May 5, 1918 to Edward and Walberga (Brandel) Corby. She married Warren Dupre and the couple settled in Mio, Michigan. She and Warren owned and operated Smith Lake Resort. They were very involved in the Mio community through the years. Vera was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mio. She and Warren enjoyed traveling during the winter months.
Vera is survived by her sister Madeline Rivard of Chesterfield, MI; her granddaughter Sheryl (Sandy) Green of Comins, MI; her great- grandson Tyler (Ashley) Green; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Warren; her son Robert Dupre; 4 brothers: Edward, Bernard, Anthony, and Vincent Corby; and her sister Evelyn Raymer.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date for both Vera and Warren at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond, Michigan.
