Timothy Noah LeBlanc
(June 20, 2000 – September 16, 2015)
Timothy Noah LeBlanc, age 15 of Mio, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2015. He was born in Gainesville, Florida on June 20, 2000, and was named after both of his grandfathers. He was a 10th grade student at Mio Ausable High School, and enjoyed his art classes the most. He worked on his Grandfather’s and Uncle’s Farm and enjoyed working with the cattle and the other farm animals. He was a valuable part of the farm crew learning the importance of hard work in life. He enjoyed hunting and kayaking, and listening to music on his I-pod. Timothy was also an alter server at St. Mary Catholic Church for 4 years, and would help whenever asked for special events like a recent Baptism or the visit of the Bishop of the Diocese of Gaylord, MI to Mio. Timothy helped to do work at Our Lady of the Woods Shrine as his Grandfather had before him, and understood the importance of this monument to our community. Timothy is survived by his mother Sharon G. LeBlanc and father Dana M. LeBlanc and his Grandparents: Sally J. Galbraith and Martin “Tim” Galbraith of Mio and Helen E. LeBlanc of Wyandotte, Michigan; and by the following Aunts and Uncles: Martin & Barb Galbraith of Mio, Mary Frew of Big Rapids, MI, Tom & Ann Galbraith of Mio, John & Julie Bureau of Holt, MI, Paula Galbraith of Chicago, IL, Mark Galbraith & Catalina Gonzalez of Los Angeles, CA, and Michael & Marlena LeBlanc of DeWitt, IA; and survived by his beloved cousins.
Visitation is on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 1 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM, with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI with Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 21 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Santiago M. Hoyumpa, Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church & Our Lady of the Woods Shrine of Mio, MI with a luncheon to follow at Kittle Hall in Elmer Township of Mio.
In lieu of giving flowers, the LeBlanc and Galbraith families suggest giving donations to Our Lady of the Woods Shrine Restoration Fund, since this will bring a lasting gift to many who visit our Northern Michigan community.
Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
