Timothy Christenson

Timothy P. Christenson, age 54, of Mio, MI, formerly of Waterford, MI, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI.
Tim was born on October 12, 1956 in Detroit, MI to Paul and Gail (McCarter) Christenson.  He lived in West Bloomfield and attended West Bloomfield High School; where he played Varsity Football and was recognized as All-State.  Timothy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sports.  He and Cheryl lived in Waterford and moved to Mio in 1994.
Surviving are his companion and ""wife"" Cheryl L. Cox of Mio, MI; his sister Lori (Cliff) Cochrane of Paw Paw, MI; his brother Michael (Theresa) Christenson of West Bloomfield, MI; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  Paul and Gail Christenson.
In accordance with Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
