Thomas C. Ritchie
March 25, 1943 — April 19, 2026
Thomas Carl Ritchie, 83, of Cassatt, South Carolina, passed away on April 19, 2026, in Camden, South Carolina, due to complications from colon cancer.
Tom was born in Clayton, Georgia, on March 25, 1943. He married Beverly Pearl Siple on June 20, 1964, and they shared 50 years of marriage. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was honored to be a Marine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and spending time with his French Bulldog, Peaches. Tom was devoted to his family, especially spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Tiltman (Mike Tiltman) and Tonya Michael (Bryan Michael), and his son, Thomas Ritchie, Jr. (Nicole Ritchie). He is also survived by his grandchildren, David Michael, Michael Tiltman, Nicole Read, Olivia Ritchie, Thomas Ritchie, and Nicole Proctor; and his great-grandchildren, Keli Read, Hope Read, Serenity Tiltman, Natasha Tiltman, Jynnie Priestley, Nathan Priestley, Karson Proctor, and Robert James Proctor.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Ritchie and Dorothy Ritchie; his wife, Beverly Pearl Ritchie; and his granddaughter, Summer Pearl Michael.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Luzerne Cemetery. Service arrangements are being handled by Lashley’s Funeral Home.
