Mrs. Theresa M. ""Tess"" Donohoe, 74, of South Branch, MI, formerly of Brooklyn, MI, died Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 at St. Marys Medical Center, Saginaw, MI. According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A grave side service and interment of ashes on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 1:00 PM, at the Highland Cemetery in Brooklyn. A memorial service will be held at the Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, Mi on Wednesday, November 25th at 1:00 PM. Tess's Nephews Reverned Daniel Strouss and Reverned Aaron Strouss will officiate at both the interment and memorial.
Tess was born on September 6, 1935, in Jackson, MI to Frank and Mary (Wysocki) Kwiatek. She graduated from St. Mary Catholic High School in Jackson and married Eugene T. Donohoe.
The couple lived in Brooklyn, where Tess worked for Brooklyn Products, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. They moved to their South Branch cottage following their retirement. Tess enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, snowmobiling and barbecues. She also liked reading, working puzzles and cooking. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, clipping and sharing of coupons and ""Extra"" groceries shared with those in need.
Tess is survived by her Brother Frank ""Smiley"" (Dolores) Kwiatek of Jackson, MI, her Sister in law Pauline Kwiatek of Glennie, MI, and many dear Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Gene in 1993, Infant Brother Frank, Brother Joseph ""Whitey"" Kwiatek, and Sister Stephanie ""Tecia"" Slaby.
