Tammie Lynn Koslakiewicz

Tammie Lynn Koslakiewicz, age 62 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Tammie was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 26, 1958 to George and Jearl Dean (Crews) Johnson. She graduated from Dexter High School with the Class of 1976, then attended Eastern Michigan University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Development. Tammie married Paul in 1989 in Howell, Michigan. The family moved to Mio in 1998. Tammie had worked at The Happy Hippie in Mio for a time, always enjoying meeting and visiting with people. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that truly lived for her kids and grandkids.

Tammie is survived by her husband Paul of Mio, MI; her children: Lauren Koslakiewicz (Justin Powell) of Luzerne, MI and Eli (Cheyenne) Koslakiewicz of Hillman, MI; her sisters: Jearl Ann (Ron) Mull of Jackson, MI and Georgia (David) Knope of Dexter, MI; and 3 grandchildren: Logan, Vanessa, and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Todd Johnson.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan at 1 PM.
