Tamara "Tammy" Coon

Tamara Coon, age 50 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday, August 4, 2016.
Tamara was born in West Branch, Michigan on February 12, 1966 to Marvin and Joyce (Burns) Coon. The family lived in Davison and Flint before settling in Mio 26 years ago. Tamara was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed crocheting, working with plastic canvas, and reading to her children.
Tamara is survived by her significant other Jeff Hawley of Mio, MI; her parents: Marvin (Gloria) Coon of Luzerne, MI; and Joyce Hurtado of Mio, MI; her children: Cassy Coon of Luzerne, MI; Tim Cady (Carrie Fowler) of Mio, MI; Taylor Cady of Mio, MI; and Zack Coon of Mio, MI; her sisters: Kim (John) Belcher of Mio, MI; and Rosita Hurtado of Mio, MI; 2 grandchildren: Maddison Jade Fowler and Sasha Lea Fowler; and Her nieces Misty, Kelly, Breana and Hilary. Her nephews Tony and Hunter. Her grandnieces Pagge, Keeley and Baylie and Her Grandnephew J J. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Coon, her daughter Carrie Cady, and her stepfather Charles Hurtado.
Visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with Funeral Services at 1 PM. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the services.
Memorial donations may be made to the wishes and needs of the family.
