Sylva M. Beauregard, age 90 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.



Sylva was born in Atlanta, Michigan on February 21, 1925 to William and Alta (McIntire) Hill. She and her husband Everett lived in Hazel Park, Michigan where they raised their family. The couple settled back in Mio 30 years ago. Sylva was a member of the Comins Mennonite Church. She was a “Grandmother” at Mio AuSable Schools for 10 years and she enjoyed writing and painting.



Sylva is survived by her children: Fred Beauregard of Mio, MI; Edwin Beauregard of Rochester, MI; Virginia Beauregard of Mio, MI; and Bradley Beauregard, also of Mio, MI; her sisters: Thela Brown of Mio, MI, and Eunice Jones of Sterling Heights, MI; 7 grandchildren: Michelle, Stacey, Monica, Jamie, Amber, Andrea, and Christopher; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett Beauregard, and 7 siblings.



In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, MI, at a later date.
