Susan Kay Chartier

Susan K. Chartier, age 68 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 19, 2020.

Susan was born in West Branch, Michigan on May 3, 1952 to Archie and Barbara (Bugbee) Gould. She married Leonard "Butch" Chartier, and they raised their family in Holly, Michigan where they lived until moving to Mio, Michigan in 1997. Sue was a member of the Mio Baptist Church. She had enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking.

Susan is survived by her children: Mike (Jen) Chartier of Mio, MI; and Tom (Joy) Chartier of Virginia Beach, VA; her siblings: Robert Gould, Pete Gould, Deb Fletcher, Barb Myers, and Penny Moorman; her grandchildren: Brooke (Thomas) Howe, and Anthony Anderson; her great-granddaughters Madyx and Oakley; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard, her grandchildren Josh and Jessica, and her brother Archie Gould.

A Graveside Service will be held for Susan on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2 PM at Christian Memorial Cultural Center Cemetery in Rochester, Michigan with Pastor Michael Jackman officiating.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
