Stanley Ballard

Stanley Harold Ballard of Flint Michigan, formerly of Curran, age 92, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center with his family at his bedside.
He was born on November 20 th, 1919 in Curran, MI. He served in the United States Army during WWII. On August 24th, 1945 he married the love of his life Pauline Bugg. He worked at Buick City in Flint for 30 years He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and fixing up old lawnmowers. He also loved his pet pig, Molly and enjoyed the Detroit Tigers.
He is survived by his daughter Joan and husband Bob Browne of Hillman, son Eugene and wife Gail Ballard of Curran, daughter Louann Love of Curran, and son Gary and wife Colleen Ballard of Flint, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, son Ronnie, Mother and Father Gertrude and Arthur Ballard, sisters Edna Emery and Goldie Fullerton, grandson Marcus Ballard and son-in-law Curtis Love.

Visitation Tuesday, Nov 13, 2012,  1-4 & 6-9 PM.  at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio.
Funeral Services at Lashley Funeral Home, at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14th,  with Pastor Mike Stadelmayer officiating. His final resting place will be the Mitchell Township Cemetery in Curran, MI.
