Shirley Ann Sposato

Mrs. Shirley Ann Sposato, 70, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at Mercy Hospital, Grayling, Michigan.
Visitation Tuesday 2-5 & 7-9 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio and Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at The Mio Church of God from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Mike Stadelmayer officiating. Interment at Kittle Cemetery Mio, Michigan.
Shirley was born on October 15, 1938 in Ortonville, Michigan to the late Percy P. & Cleo K. (King) Jenks.
She married James P. Sposato on March 16, 1957 in Waterford, Michigan. They lived in Waterford until moving to Mio in June of 1973. Shirley was a home maker and mother. She was a member of The Mio Church of God and enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, trying her luck at the Casinos and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are her children: John P. (Sherri) Sposato of Burton, MI, Patrick J. (Sandy) Sposato of Luzerne, MI, Jami (Steven) Bock of Bellaire, MI and James P. (Lynnette) Sposato, II of Luzerne, MI.; 7 grandchildren: Amanda, Nicholas (Lacey), Ora Leigh-Ann, Lacy, Jordan, Cody and Jaren; a sister, Geraldine
three brothers, Chuck, Bob and Ed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James P. Sposato, brothers: Lloyd, Ermon ""Chet "" and Dale and sisters: Madline, Joyce, Janet, Ruby and Norma.
