Sherry Kay Weidenhammer

Sherry Kay Weidenhammer, age 66, of Lewiston, MI formerly of Burton, MI passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010, at Mercy Hospital, Grayling.
Sherry was born on June 4, 1943 in Truman, Arkansas, living most of her life in Burton, Michigan. Sherry and her husband of 48 years, Marshall, moved to Lewiston, MI 10 years ago. She will be remembered as an avid card player.
Surviving are her husband Marshall; mother Ruth Smith of Davison, MI; 2 sons: Mike Weidenhammer of Flint, MI; Kevin (Leah) Weidenhammer of Davison, MI; 1 daughter: Kathy Carpenter (Mark Gagne) of Flint, MI; 3 sisters: Sandy, Susie, and Vicki; 6 grandchildren: Nicole, Ryan, Kelsie and Kylie Weidenhammer and Jacob and Katie Oâ??Brien; a great granddaughter Naomi Ortega; a close friend Tom Vanover of Flint and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Gene Smith.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering and celebration of Sherry's life will be held, for family and friends, on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 4:00 PM at 8193 Faulkner Dr., Davison, Michigan.
