Sheila Forbing-Antkowiak

Sheila R. Forbing-Antkowiak, age 44 of Mio, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Sheila was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 24, 1976 to William and Mary (Hodge) Forbing. She attended Mio High School. Sheila was a caregiver, caring for her mother for the past several years. She was also a loving homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking, plants and gardening.

Sheila is survived by her husband Frank Antkowiak of Mio, MI; her mother Mary Forbing of Mio, MI; her children: Kyle Forbing, Cole Forbing, K.C. Antkowiak, Branden Antkowiak, Masen Antkowiak, and Tristen Antkowiak; her sister Stephanie Freeze of Fairview, MI; her brother Rodney (Kim) Mayse of Mio, MI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father William Forbing and her daughter Kayla.

Visitation on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 1-4 and 6 – 9PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and also on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 2 PM until Funeral Services at 3 PM. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the services.
