Sharon Galbraith Leblanc born March 30, 1961 passed away peacefully, on July 29, 2026, with her husband at her side.
Sharon the eldest and wisest child of Martin “Tim” and Sally Galbraith. She enjoyed creating and spending time with her husband Dana, her extended family and friends. Her servant's heart has her quietly involved in numerous community and church projects. Always on a mission, she assisted with fundraising the restoration of St. Mary's shrine, assisting the Immaculate Heart of Mary's Rosary making group, and various women's and children's charities. If ice cream was needed for a social, meals for community members, or a suit jacket for a teen she never met. She met that need.
Out of college, she joined the Peace Corp, going on to be a 10th grade school teacher, a geologist/Field Inspector for petroleum clean up, and most recently an asbestos Inspector and an air quality inspector, for Michigan EGLE.
Sharon is preceded in death by her son Timothy Noah LeBlanc, parents Martin "Tim” And Sally Galbraith, brother Thomas Galbraith, and niece Sarah Frew. She is survived by her husband Dana LeBlanc, Brothers and sisters Martin and Barbra Galbraith, Ann Galbraith, Mary Frew, Julie and John Bureau, Paula and Ben Klinker, Mark Galbraith, Mike and Marlena LeBlanc, 22 nieces and nephews. Her work family at Michigan EGLE had a special place in her heart as well as countless friends and family.
Memorial donations may be made to the Our Lady of the Woods Shrine, P.O. Box 189, Mio, Michigan 48647.
