Sandra Suchland

Sandra Lou Suchland passed away peacefully from a courageous battle with cancer in her home on Sunday morning, Dec. 4, 2011, surrounded by her loving children.
She is survived by her four children, Richard Dusseau (Randy), David Dusseau, Darcy McKeon, and Gary Suchland and five grandchildren, Sara McKeon, Dustin McKeon, Lauren Dusseau, Dalton Suchland and Dominic Suchland.
Sandy was born in 1941 in Toledo, Ohio, and graduated from Burham High School. She received a BA in business from Davenport College. Mio was Sandy's home for 48 years where enjoyed all four seasons, and the beautiful countryside throughout Northern Michigan.
Sandy was the proprietor of the Mio Florist, a successful business she ran for more than 38 years. A talented florist and artist, Sandy loved her work and was known for her exceptional floral designs and creativity. She also loved spending time with her family, who will miss her greatly.
A visitation will be held 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, with a funeral following at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Lashley Funeral Home, in Mio, Michigan. A graveside service will be held at the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 1:00 PM.
