Sandra Lee Goit

Sandra L. Goit, age 73 of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away at her daughter’s home in Greenville, MI on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Sandra was born in Clarkston, Michigan on December 21, 1941 to Andrew and Margaret (Spragg) Van Kuren.  She married David L. Goit on July 9, 1960 in Pontiac, MI.  The couple lived in Waterford, MI, then retired to Luzerne, MI in 1996, following David’s retirement from General Motors. She had attended AuSable Bible Church. Sandra enjoyed BINGO, ceramics, and making & collecting dolls.
Sandra is survived by her children:  Veva (Dennis) Fleming of Greenville, MI and David (Debbie Stoneham) Goit of Onaway, MI; 2 sisters:  Sharon Geath of Waterford, MI and Linda Witt of Beaver Dam, KY; her grandchildren:  Amanda Maltbie, Jerimiah Messer, Desdemona Evans, Renee Ballard, Ryan Cavanagh, Michelle Cavanagh, Anissa Goit, and Alicia Goit; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband David L. Goit; and her siblings:  George, Chuck, Bob, Grace and Gerald.
Visitation Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5 – 9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, and also on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 12 Noon until the Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Ron Carter of AuSable Bible Church officiating. Interment to follow at Luzerne Cemetery, Luzerne, MI.
