Samuel E. Miller

Samuel E. Miller, 60 of Mio, MI, died on Monday July 22, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family and grandchildren, following a brief illness of Creutzfeldt Jacob Disease.  He was born on Sunday August 31, 1952 in LaGrange, IN to Elmer C. Miller and Ada (Mast) Miller.  Sam married Orpha (Miller) Miller on March 16, 1972.
He is survived by his wife Orpha; 3 sons: Richard (Rosanna) Miller of Roodhouse, IL, Ernest Ray (Inez) Miller of McBain, MI, and Elmer Jay (Martha) Miller of Sears MI; 4 daughters: Rosanna (James) Miller of Clarkson, Ky, Norma (Joseph) Bontrager of Mio, MI, Norene (Norm) Hochstetler of Roodhouse, IL, and Lorene (James) Gingerich of Mio, MI; 43 grandchildren; his father Elmer C. Miller of Ligonier, IN, 1 brother Lester (Edna) Miller; 3 sisters: Barbara (Urie) Miller, Beulah (Melvin) Miller and Irene (Jerry) Miller;  many nieces and nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, 1 sister and 2 grandsons.  Sam was a owner and founder of The Country Feed Supply of which he was active in, till the last 8 weeks.
Viewing is on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:30 and again from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at his home, 489 W. Kittle Road, Mio, MI, 48647.  Funeral is on Thursday July 25, 2013, 9:30 AM at Paul Yoder residence, 360 W. Kittle Road, Mio, MI, public is welcome to both.  Interment will be at The Amish Kittle Cemetery.
