Sally Ann Duby

Sally Ann Duby, age 91 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Sally was born in Mio, Michigan on January 8, 1933, to Thomas and Margaret (Carpenter) Brooks. She married Joseph on June 1, 1951. Sally worked for the DNR as a secretary for 33 ½ years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Mio Baptist Church where she played both organ and piano. She enjoyed going to garage sales, crocheting, knitting, playing and listening to piano music, and reading.
Sally is survived by her grandchildren: Angela (Matthew) Clymer, Amy (Jason) Fullerton, Shannon (Jon) Ellsworth, and Carrie (Allen) Arcalas; her great-grandchildren: Cody, Sydney, Hayley, Scott, Erin, Layla, Tori, McKenzie, Mary Grace, Robert, Liberty, and Caleb; and her daughters-in-law: Deborah Duby and Cynthia Queen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, her sons David and Russell, and her siblings Collie, Bill, Helen, Florence, and Marry.
Visitation on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 5 – 9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI. Sally will also lie in state on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Mio Baptist Church, Mio, Michigan from 10 AM until the Funeral Services at 11 AM with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment will follow at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
