Sadie Irene Gingerich

Sadie I. Gingerich, age 88, of Mio, MI, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at her home.

Sadie was born in Middlefield, Ohio on January 2, 1932, to the late Allen and Ada Miller.

Surviving are her children: Ada Mae & Fred R. Yoder, Melvin Ray & Barbara Sue "Schrock" Gingerich, Paul Allen & Mary Ellen "Miller" Gingerich, Esther Ann & Dennis Schrock, Jerry Jay & Ruth "Miller" Gingerich, Rhoda Jane & David Ray Miller and Naomi Ruth & Reuben Bontrager. 47 Grandchildren and 79 living Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents Allen & Ada Miller, Husband Melvin N. Gingerich on February 14, 1996; Sons: David Lee Gingerich on July 22, 2011 and James Edward Gingerich on May 25, 1967 also Granddaughter Carrie (Gingerich) Bontrager on March 7, 2016.

Visitation 2-8 PM Wednesday Jan. 15, 2020 at The James Gingerich residence786 W. Kittle Rd., Mio and also 2-8 PM on Thursday Jan. 16, 2020 at the Marion Bontrager residence 287 Galbraith Rd., Mio.

Funeral Services at Marion Bontrager Residence, Mio, Michigan, at 9:30 AM on Friday, January 17th, with John Miller, Joseph Yoder and Johnny J. Miller, Jr. officiating.

Interment at Amish Kittle Cemetery Elmer Township, Michigan.
