Russell James Witzke

Russell James Witzke
Born August 13, 1992, after a long period of fighting mental
health issues, Russell suddenly passed away on October 22,
2023.
Russell is survived by his mother Renee (LeVasseur) Witzke and
his father, Matthew J Witzke, along with many aunts, uncles,
and cousins.
Russell was extremely intelligent, insightful, a student of
ancient history, an avid book reader, and an avid sports fan.
Russell always sought to broaden his horizons, living in both Las
Vegas and San Francisco.
Although born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Russell was amazed
with the landscape and beauty of Northern Michigan. Russell is
in a better place and will always be missed.
There will be no formal services or memorials. If you feel so
inclined, donate to a mental health organization of your choice
in place of sending flowers.
