Mrs. Ruby Pauline Handrich, 82, of Fairview, MI. went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, June 19th, 2007 at The Northern Michigan Hospital, Petoskey, MI., following a heart attack Viewing Thursday 2-9 PM. at The Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI. Religious Service at The Fairview Mennonite Church, Fairview, Michigan, at 11 AM on Friday, June 22nd, with Pastors Eldon Krider and Virgil Hershberger officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery Fairview, Michigan.
Ruby was born on October 15, 1924 to Dan and Mabel Yoder in Nappanee, IN. on May 20, 1945.
She married Richard Handrich and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. She was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church and an active part of the women's group.
She is survived by her husband Richard; daughters: Pat (Frank) Arthur of Aurora, CO., Diane (Jerry) Handrich of Guntersville, AL.; son Garry (Pudge) Handrich of Mio and Dallas (Jane) Handrich of Fairview; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters: Ethel (Virgil) Handrich of Florida, Mary Gerber of Florida, Ruth (Dennis) Sharp of Florida; brothers: Floyd Yoder of Fairview, Robert (Edna) Yoder of Arizona and many nieces , nephews and friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her son Dennis age 6; sisters: Orpha and Betty and brothers: Daniel and Glenn.
