Ruben A. Armes

Ruben A. Armes, age 65 of Rose City, Michigan, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Ruben was born in Manchester, Tennessee on August 25, 1949 to Patrick and Annie (Statum) Armes. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He had worked for General Motors for 32 years, retiring from the Pontiac Truck and Bus Division, and settled in Rose City.
Ruben is survived by his wife Carol of Rose City, MI; his children: Michael (Lisa) Armes of Londonderry, NH; and Debra (Chad) Minton of Highland, MI; his step-children: Kelly (Matt) Clark of Cary, IL and Kristopher Downs (fiancée Jayna Hanley) of Auburn Hills, MI; his sister Yohanna Armes of Florida, his brother Jimmie Statum of Roscommon, MI and 12 grandchildren.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
