Roxanne Yvonne Hawley

Roxanne Y. Hawley, age 57 of McKinley, MI, passed away at her home on Friday July 4, 2014.
Roxanne was born on November 15, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan to Vernon and Olive (Thayer) Segar. She lived in Frankenmuth, Birch Run, and settled in Rose City. She later settled in Mio. Roxanne married Richard Hawley on July 29, 1974 in Mio. She had worked as a Nurse’s Aide at AuSable Valley Nursing Home for over 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, computer games, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Roxanne is survived by her husband Richard of McKinley, MI; her mother Olive Royalty of McKinley, MI; her children: Richard W. (Crystal) Hawley, of McKinley, MI; Tricia Marie (Jesse) Hamm of McKinley, MI; and Tracy Ann Laird of Luzerne, MI; 5 grandchildren: Jasmine, Jaiden, Nathan, Ethan, and Lucas; her sister Debra (Loren) Schwanbeck of Kingman, AZ; her brother Vernon (Sandra) Segar of Georgetown, TN and her special dog Sasha. She was preceded in death by her father Vernon and her daughter Amy Lynn Hawley.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 from 11AM – 1 PM at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, with Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Russell Bowman officiating. In accordance with Roxannne's wishes, cremation will follow the service. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
