Rosella K. Linger

Rosella Katherine Linger, age 96, of Mio, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Home at AuSable Valley Community in Fairview. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at The Mio Church of God on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM.
Rosella was born on January 17, 1914 to Charles and Pearl (Marsh) Davis in Millington, MI. She moved to Mio during her childhood and graduated from Mio High School. She married Chester Galbraith, who preceded her in death in 1970. She moved to Florida, living there for many years, and summered in Mio. She later married Ellis Linger and they resided in Florida. He preceded her in death. For the past 6 years, Rosella returned to Mio to live. She attended the Mio Church of God. She enjoyed cooking and playing BINGO.
Surviving are her children: Alice (Joe) Stone of Mio; Barb (Ron) Willobee of Moran, MI; Charles (Carol) Galbraith of Mio; and Darold (Mary Lou) Galbraith of McCormick, SC; 11 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Chester Galbraith; her second husband Ellis Linger; and her 3 brothers: George, Charles, and Don Davis.
