Rose-Marie Ella Bowen

Mrs. Rose-Marie Ella Bowen, age 77, of Mio, passed away Saturday, July 18th, 2009 at her residence.
Visitation Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 12:00 Noon until the time of Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio with James Downing officiating. Interment at Mentor Township Cemetery, Mio.
Rose was born on March 22, 1932 in Leipzig, Germany to the late Otto & Gertrude (Miller) Rausch. . She married Robert Lee Bowen on Feb. 23, 1956 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The couple moved to Auburn Heights, MI and settled in Mio in 1979.
Rose was a homemaker. She enjoyed Bingo and sharing time and a cup of coffee with her family and friends.
Rose-Marie is survived by two daughters, Anna-Marie G. Bowen (Dennis E. Alleyn) of Mio and Jerry Lynn (Donald) DuPont of Manchester, NH; one son Robert (Sherry) Bowen of LaMarque, TX and a stepson Dale (Tracy) Yanke of Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Gina (David) Haney and Brian (Tammy) Reddaway; great grandchildren: Alex, Thressa, Daisy, Brian, Alura, Brianna and Zachery; her friend and caregiver Dori Taylor and special friends: Cindy Crandall, Janette Dice, Ron & Kitt, Dawn St. James and Janet Camen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, son Frank Bowen and husband Robert Lee Bowen.
