Ronald Eugene Koch 74 years of Lambertville, MI and formerly of Mio, MI died Saturday October 28, 2006 in Lake Park Convalescent Center Sylvania, OH. He operated the Wheeler Dealer Flea Market and the Galaxy Drive-in Theater in Mio, MI and other area businesses for several years prior to selling real estate in Florida. The son of Arthur and Grace (Payne) Koch, he was born February 12, 1932 in Sioux Falls, S. Dakota. A 1950 graduate of Mio High School, he also attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Ronald was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. June 19, 1965 he married the former Jan Howard in St. Maryâ??s Catholic Church/Shrine in Mio, MI. An avid hunter, fisherman, gun dealer and collector, he also enjoyed flea markets and auctions. He is survived by his wife, Jan, children, Eddie Bogan of CA, Deborah (Mike) Franceus of Temperance, MI, Ronda (Mark) Gauthier of Westland, MI, Tammy (Bill) Kamen of Mio, MI, Ryan Koch of Jackson, MI, sister, Mary Kay Smith of Lansing, MI, 6 grandchildren, Cory (Trista) Franceus, Sgt. Kurt (Erin) Franceus USMC, Kaysi Franceus, Makenna Gauthier, Eddie Bogan Jr., Tony Larson, and 2 great-grandchildren, Christian Larson and Bryce Bogan and Niece Leslie Smith and Nephew Scott (Cassie) Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leslie. Ron was a member of American Legion Post #0348 in Mio, MI. Their will be a visitation November 4th from 1 till 8pm in the Lashley Funeral Home Mio, MI where a Memorial service will be held at 3PM by Frank Beek of the Church of Christ Mio, MI. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimerâ??s Association. Bedford Funeral Chapel Temperance, MI was in charge of local arrangements.
