Rodney Vernon Neff

Rodney V. Neff, age 57 of Fairview, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.Rodney was born in West Branch, Michigan on December 15, 1962 to Richard and Violet (Hunsburger) Neff, and was raised in Fairview, Michigan. He worked doing road construction most of his life. Rodney had enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and mushroom hunting. He was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church, and enjoyed his family and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Rodney is survived by his sister Doreen Thomas of Alpena, MI; his brothers: Dale Neff of Comins, MI, and Torrey (Kendra) Neff of Fairview, MI; his nieces and nephews: Tyler (Alanna) Thomas, John (Laura) Neff, Andrew (Corrie) Thompson, Kari Thompson, and Kaitlin, Rebecca, and Samantha Neff. He is also survived by his cat "Skittles/Murphy", and his dear friends: Warren & Beth Miller, Paul Yoder and Pat Wilson. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Candice Neff, and his brother Richard Thomas Neff, Jr. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Mio Dummy Club or to the Comins Eagles Club. These arrangements were handled by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI.
