Mr. Robert Jay Garrow, age 78, of Fairview, MI passed away Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will be at a later date at Springvale Township Cemetery near Petoskey, MI..
Robert was born on March 22, 1930 in Elmira, MI to Raymond and Lottie (Dickinson) Garrow.
He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic at the family auto repair shop in Petoskey and had also been a truck driver and enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are his five daughters: Christine Earl of Concord, CA; Lynette McFall of Lansing, MI; Iris Hancock of Lodi, CA; Roberta Garrow of Sand Lake, MI; Anna Marie Peterson of Sand Lake, MI and a son: Al Garrow of Flint, MI; brother, Rodney Garrow of Flint; 11 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Lottie and 1 sister.
