Mr. Richard Stanley Rumball, 81, of Mio died Wednesday, January 17th, 2007 at Bortz Health Care of Rose City, Michigan.
Visitation is Sunday 2-9 PM. at Lashley Funeral Home in Mio, MI. with a Prayer Vigil service at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Mio, MI, at 11 AM on Monday, January 22nd, with Father Joseph A. Blasko officiating. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.
Richard was born on July 20, 1925 in Berkley, MI.to the late Clarence and Louise (Bushey) Rumball. He had attended St. Mary Catholic Church and had worked in Insurance and Real-estate sales, from which he retired in 1987.
Surviving are his wife Susan K. (Judd) Rumball, Daughters: Judith (Richard) Hurford of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. Denise Fanger of Poughkeepsie, NY. Cynthia Trammel of Shelby Township, MI. Nancy (Kurtis) Horwath of Mio, MI. Sons: Larry (Jan) Rumball of Incline Village, Nevada, Todd (Deanna) Rumball of Lapeer, MI., Step Daughter: Brenda (Larry) Fifield of Silverwood, MI. Step Son: David (Debbie) Delong of Imlay City, MI. Sister: Evelyn Lomakaski of Romeo, MI. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Francis Rumball and two sisters Mary Delke and Bernice Barnowski
