Richard Powell

Richard Sylvester Powell, age 82, of Mio, passed away Tuesday, March 12th, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Grayling.
Richard was born in Port Huron, Michigan on May 4, 1930, the son of the late Daniel and Catherine Mildred (Richert) Powell. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force  in the Korean War and was a retired Metal Model Maker at General Motors - Buick.
Surviving are his son Mark (Suzanne) Powell of Mio, MI. and his grandchildren: Scott (Krista) Powell and Cheyanne Powell.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Lapeer, Michigan..
