Richard Huepenbecker

Richard Lee Huepenbecker, age 77 of Mio, MI, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at his home.Richard was born in Eckford Twp., Calhoun County, MI on December 11, 1935 to Lawrence and Agnes (Tobolski) Huepenbecker.  He married Diana Fullerton on November 2, 1979 in Reading, MI.   Richard worked for D.C.A. Food Industries for 43 years, retiring in December of 1997.  The couple settled in Mio, MI in 1998.  Richard had enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, carpentry work, watching the Detroit Tigers, travelling, mushrooming, and looking for deer.Surviving are his wife Diana Huepenbecker; his children:  Lee Huepenbecker, Linda Palmer, Lyle Huepenbecker, Lindsey Huepenbecker, Loren (Ann) Huepenbecker, Patricia (Terry) Baker, Kelly Beem, Penny (Scott) Ferry, Richard (Lisa) Graham, Randy (Wendi) Graham, Crystal (Garrett) Murray, and Heather Barringer; his brothers: William Huepenbecker and Jerry (Dianna) Huepenbecker;  many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his close friends Donna & Leonard Luckey.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Lynn Huepenbecker.Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 6-9 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan.  In accordance with Richardâ??s wishes, cremation will follow.Arrangements by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, Michigan.
