Richard William Hawley

Richard W. Hawley, age 62 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at Medilodge of Hillman on Thursday, January 12, 2017.
Richard was born in Fairview, Michigan on May 17, 1954 to Russel and Shirley (Harmon) Hawley. He married Roxanne (Segar) Hawley on July 29, 1974 in Mio, Michigan. Richard owned and operated R & R Lawn Service in Mio. He had enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his friends having coffee at the Paddle Inn.
Richard is survived by his mother Shirley; his children: Richard W. Hawley, Jr. of Bay City, MI; Tricia Marie (Jesee) Hamm of McKinley, MI; and Tracy Ann (Kenneth) Bills of Mio, MI; his brother Jeff Hawley of Mio, MI; his sister Jeanne (Thomas) Lemon; and 6 grandchildren: Ethan, Hunter, Lucas, Jasmine, Jaiden, and Nathan. He was preceded in death by his father Russel Hawley, his wife Roxanne Hawley, his daughter Amy, and his brothers Dennis and Rusty Hawley.
Visitation on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4 PM – 8 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, Then Tuesday January 17 2017 from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home Funeral Services at 1 PM with Pastor Richard Beaudre of the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church officiating. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will follow the services.
