Richard Gail Galbraith

Richard Gail Galbraith, age 86 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, October 23, 2015.
Richard was born in Mio, Michigan on September 9, 1929 to Russell and Opal (Shann) Galbraith. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  He moved to Westland, MI, where he owned and operated Dick’s Rental. He returned to Mio in the late 1960’s where he worked for U-Haul, retiring at the age of 62.
Richard is survived by his sister Patricia (Richard) Greenshields of Zephyrhills, FL; his brother Patrick Galbraith of Melbourne, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ilse Galbraith; and his brothers:  Donald, Theodore and Joseph.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to any veteran’s organization of the donor’s choice.
