Richard Wayne Bugg

Richard Wayne Bugg, age 66 of McKinley, Michigan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015.
Richard was born in Fairview, Michigan on May 27, 1949 to Leland and Mary (Yoder) Bugg. He was a decorated Army Specialist and Combat Engineer who served his country in Korea and Vietnam. Richard lived in Michigan, then in California, then retired back in Michigan. His hobbies included wood working, playing pool, hunting, and fishing.
Richard is survived by his daughters: Marcey Bugg and family; and Dawn Bentley and family; his sister-in-law Angela Bugg; 2 nieces: Jessica Sandoval and family; and Coleen Perez and family; his nephew Eric Bugg; 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leland and Mary Bugg; and his siblings: Steven Bugg, Karen Bugg, and Mark Bugg.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI, with a Memorial Service at 1 PM with Pastor Eldon Krider officiating. Military Honors to follow. Interment of ashes at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan, at a later date.
