Rebekah Kathleen Shephard, 39, of Lewiston, Michigan, entered the presence of her Savior at her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 16, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 31, 1986, Rebekah lived a life marked by profound love, unwavering faith, and boundless kindness that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Rebekah was the devoted wife of Brice Shephard and a nurturing mother to her three cherished children, Ava, Brody, and Ellie. She created a warm and joyful home, pouring her heart into homeschooling her children since 2020. As a compassionate Registered Nurse and Nutritional Therapist Practitioner, Rebekah served with dedication at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Spokane, Washington, and later as a pediatric nurse at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord, Michigan. She also authored "A Nurse In Your Purse" a guide for all mothers especially new mothers. Her generous spirit extended care and comfort to countless patients and families.
Throughout her battle with cancer, Rebekah’s faith in Jesus remained a beacon of strength. She found solace in the Pentatonix version of “Hallelujah,” its lyrics echoing her ability to praise God through adversity. Rebekah’s love for gardening, healthy living, and life’s simple joys—shared through family gatherings and thoughtful gestures—made everyone around her feel deeply loved and valued.
Rebekah is survived by her beloved Husband, Brice; her children, Ava, Brody, and Ellie;
Her parents Rick and Gail Singler of Fairview, MI, Her Siblings Shawn (Mindy) McGinley of Arlington, TN, Stacia (Randy) Madison of Shields, Mi, Aaron (Elizabeth) Singler of Navarre, FL, And Many Nieces And Nephews and many family members and friends who will forever carry her radiant spirit and unwavering faith in their hearts.
The family invites you to Honor Rebekah’s life at a memorial service to be held at Tri-Point Church in Mio, Michigan on Jan 31, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
