Raymond Paul Shattuck, Sr.

Raymond P. Shattuck, Sr., age 73 of Mio, Michigan, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Raymond was born in Leonard, Michigan on June 20, 1947 to Merton and Clara (Green) Shattuck. He served his country in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He worked most of his life as a roofer and woodsman, and also worked in the oil fields in Texas. Raymond was a volunteer with the Purple Heart organization. He moved to Mio from Pontiac, Michigan in 2008. He enjoyed traveling.

Raymond is survived by his sons Benjamin Shattuck and Raymond Shattuck, Jr.; his brothers: Robert (Beth) Shattuck of Goodrich, MI; David Shattuck of Lapeer, MI; and Timothy (Gail) Shattuck of Kalispell, MT; his cousins: Bill (Terri) Shattuck, Norman (Emma) Shattuck, J.R. (Sandy) Shattuck, Patty Shattuck, and Dale Shattuck; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Merton and Clara Shattuck.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of ashes will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
