Raymond Lantz

Mr. Raymond Louis Lantz, 81, of Barton City passed away Thursday, December 13th, 2012 at The Home at AuSable Valley Community, Fairview, MI.
Raymond was born in Detroit, MI. on October 16, 1931, the son of the late Fredrick and Orphia (Atwell) Lantz.  He resided in Garden City, MI. where he was a Naval Reserve and worked for General Motors.  He was the husband of Earlene (Hall) Lantz whom he married on February 3, 1951.  Raymond retired from his machine repair work at GM in August of 1994 and then later moved to Barton City, MI. in March of 1995.  He was an advide outdoorsman who especially liked hunting. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Raymond is survived by his wife; daughter Vickie Sugden; son Scott Lantz; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons: Micheal and Gary Lantz.
In according with Raymond's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
