Mr. Raymond Dale LaBush, age 63, of Luzerne, passed away Monday, January 5, 2009 at his home.
Visitation from 1 -9 P.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at Lashley Funeral Home, Mio; Funeral Service on Thursday at 11 A.M. at Lashley Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Bowman of the Mio New Hope Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment at Luzerne Cemetery.
Mr. LaBush was born on September 5, 1945 in Detroit, MI to Alfred and Margaret (Harper) Labuschewsky, and he lived in Brighton. Raymond married Sharon on February 28, 1962 in Detroit, MI. They moved to Luzerne in 1979. Raymond had worked as a truck driver, a construction and cement worker, a bartender, and a woodcutter. Raymond had owned and operated Mio Bakery & Deli for several years. He enjoyed hunting.
Mr. LaBush is survived by his wife Sharon; his children: Marge (Mike) Hodge of Mio; Barbara (Jeffery) Willobee of Luzerne; Sherry (Toby) Mitchell of Allegan, MI; Bonnie (Rob) Farrell of Luzerne; and Raymond (Rebecca) LaBush of Luzerne; his sister Aline Flinn & her fiancé George Lewiston; his brother Alfred (Carol) LaBush of Luzerne; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren.
