Phyllis Lorene Galer

Phyllis Lorene Galer, 86, of Fairview, MI, passed away Sunday, February 2nd, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Grayling, Michigan.
Phyllis was born in Martin, Kentucky on November 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Emily (Ousley) and George C. Hughes. She was raised in the Washington/Armada, Michigan area. Phyllis was a homemaker for most of her life. She attended the Emma Lowery Church in Luzerne for many years. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her plants.
She is survived by her 3 sons: Tim, David, and Steven; her daughter Elizabeth; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
