Paul M. Pasternak

Paul M. Pasternak, age 95, of Mio, MI, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026 at his home.

Paul was born in Saginaw, Michigan on September 12, 1931, a son of the late Mary A. (Bily) and Paul A. Pasternak.

Paul and his wife Beverly moved to Mio from Saginaw in 1976, where they owned and operated Walker Bar and Bowling Alley until Paul's retirement in 2021.

Paul served in the US Army and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, The Mio Lions Club and enjoed fishing, Hunting, cooking, making Polish sausage and homemade wine.

Surviving are his children: Paul (Sue) Pasternak of Gaylord; Susan Pasternak of Saginaw and Nancy Pasternak of California also surviving are 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and his former wife Carmen Pasternak.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Thomas and wife Beverly.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday October 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mentor Township Cemetery with Rev. Santiago Hoyumpa officiating, followed by military honors.
