Mr. Paul Henry Diller, age 75 of Fairview, passed away Friday, September 28th, 2012 at Covenant Health Care, Saginaw.
Paul was born in Loud Township, Montmorency County, Michigan on October 4, 1936, the son of the late Vernon and Glada (Wagner) Diller. He married Bertha F. (Miller) Diller on Oct. 15, 1955 at The Comins Mennonite Church.
Paul had owned and operated The Fairview Coffee Shop and Bakery, Mio Dry Cleaners and Soft-Cloth Buff-Dry Carpet Cleaning in Fairview and had served as Pastor at Comins Mennonite Church and The Lifeline Missionary Fellowship in Fairview. Paul enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, tennis and being outside, but mostly loved studying the Bible and sharing the Lord's word with people. He will be remembered as being ""Greatly loved, highly favored and deeply blessed.""
Surviving are his wife Bertha Faye (Miller) Diller; children: Laurie Diller, Amy (Tim) Marshall, Jane Diller and Tim (Wendy) Diller all of Fairview; grandchildren: Amber (Kevin) Fitch of Lewiston, Leah (Ryan) Blair of Mio, April Marshall of Grand Rapids, Joelle Diller of Ann Arbor, Katie Diller of Gaylord, Tiffany Diller and Benjamin Diller both of Fairview, great grandchildren: Alivia and Wyatt and 1 brother Wayne (Reta) Diller of Anchorage, Alaska.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Iris Short formerly of Anchorage, Alaska.
Visitation 3:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 at Lashley Funeral Home and on Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home, with Pastor Jack Williams of Beaver Lake Community Church, Lachine , officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
